Who we are
Full Circle Gardens was formed to bring a revolutionary product to gardeners everywhere. Just as the product itself is different from what you’ll find on the shelf, so is the partnership that brings it to market.
Steve Wortinger is the creator, inventor, father and champion of Full Circle Plant Food. He’s had his hands in the soil all his life — with forty years spent in the garden, he realized early on that chemicals were disruptive to the natural order. As he discovered how chemical fertilizers and pesticides were destroying the natural life around us, he learned more about plant life, root structure and the rich, powerful ecosystem we call soil.
Since 1995, Steve has been working with soil scientists in a development team to perfect a product to support organic growth and enhance soil ecology. He’s tested countless variations, refined resources, and grown test plots — again and again. Early in 2010 he met two new partners who have worked to bring his product to gardeners and growers, Sean and Tim.
Our chief marketing officer, Sean Bonsell is a web site creator specializing in helping small independent retailers use modern media strategies to compete in today’s marketplace. He’s committed to sustainable practices and is always looking for local resources — the more local, the better.
Tim Heitzman is a marketing and advertising veteran who has spent his career selling his clients’ goods and services, from museums to cruise ships, electronics to food and beverage. Tim contributes operational experience and works to ensure customer satisfaction.
This trio shares many differences in background, experience and approach. What they agree on is important: creating a healthier state for our planet is our most important task. You very well may use Full Circle Plant Food to grow bigger tomatoes, brighter flowers or greener lawns — that’s just the surface effect. You are participating in a movement to heal our soil, stimulate healthy growth and build a stronger full circle of life.
